About the Role

As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you'll operate at the center of scientific exchange—partnering with leading urologic oncologists, investigators, and academic institutions to shape clinical practice, research strategy, and medical innovation. This is not a maintenance MSL role. It's an opportunity to build influence, contribute strategically, and help establish CG Oncology as a trusted scientific leader during a pivotal growth phase.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build trusted, compliant relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, and healthcare professionals across your territory
  • Lead high-level scientific discussions on CG Oncology's products, pipeline, and evolving clinical data
  • Translate complex oncology and immunotherapy data into clear, actionable medical insights that inform company strategy
  • Support clinical trials and investigator-initiated research, ensuring scientific alignment and GCP excellence
  • Represent CG Oncology at major medical congresses, advisory boards, and scientific meetings
  • Contribute to publications, congress materials, and medical education resources that elevate the company's scientific presence
  • Collaborate effectively across functions while working independently in the field
  • Provide strategic medical input to support company objectives and pipeline advancement

Requirements

  • An advanced scientific or clinical doctorate (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent)
  • Significant experience as an MSL in pharma or biotech, ideally within oncology or urology
  • A passion for scientific dialogue, data integrity, and long-term clinical impact
  • The ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively across functions
  • High professionalism, strategic thinking, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for high-level scientific discussions
  • Deep understanding of oncology and immunotherapy landscapes
  • Experience with GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and clinical trial support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in urologic oncology specifically
  • Background in bladder cancer research or treatment
  • Established relationships with key opinion leaders in the urology/oncology space

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range: $185,000 - $210,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
