Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Entry Level Sports Travel & Event Coordinator to join our dynamic remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about sports and travel who want to build a career in the sports tourism industry. As a Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing travel arrangements, coordinating event logistics, and ensuring exceptional service for our sports travel clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and venue access for sports teams and athletes
- Plan and organize sporting event logistics, including tournament schedules, practice sessions, and team meetings
- Communicate with clients to understand their travel requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Manage booking systems and maintain accurate records of all travel itineraries and reservations
- Resolve travel-related issues and emergencies, providing immediate support to clients
- Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and venue operators to secure favorable rates and arrangements
- Prepare travel documents, itineraries, and event schedules for client distribution
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout their travel experience
Requirements
- Must be based in and authorized to work in one of the following countries: United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Italy, Ireland, Mexico, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, Spain, or Trinidad and Tobago
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Basic understanding of travel booking processes and reservation systems
- Customer service oriented with a passion for sports and travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in travel coordination, event planning, or customer service
- Familiarity with sports leagues, tournaments, or athletic events
- Knowledge of international travel regulations and visa requirements
- Experience working remotely or in a distributed team environment
